Established in October 2021 within the Civil Rights Division of TxDOT, an event was organized in the Beaumont District to facilitate connections and information exchange for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) seeking business engagements with TxDOT. The Doing Business with TxDOT initiative has demonstrated significant success. This event serves as a crucial platform for connecting with DBEs, fostering meaningful interactions with TxDOT district staff, and providing valuable insights into the locations of district offices.

During the event, DBEs will have the opportunity to hear from key officials within the district, gaining valuable information on upcoming projects, details about the DBE program, the process of becoming a certified DBE, and compliance information related to TxDOT projects. Additionally, DBEs will be able to engage with prime contractors and fellow DBEs, obtaining insights into their experiences and collaboration with TxDOT.
Event Instructions
The Doing Business with TxDOT Information Session & Connection Event on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 9 a.m. - noon. The event will be hosted at TxDOT's Amarillo District Headquarters located at 5715 Canyon Dr. Amarillo, TX 79110
